George Washington's Letter to Henry Laurens

December 23, 1777

This 9 1/4 page letter is addressed to the President of Congress, Henry Laurens. It describes the state of misery of the army, the breakdown of various army departments, and the dire need to address the Continental Army or suffer the army dissolving.
